Absolutely stunning illustrations!
Such a beautiful book! I’ve got tons of kids' books at home, but I’ve never seen illustrations like this before. I saw it and just had to order it—loved it right away. My 3 y.o got really attached to the friend Sadness, kept asking about her! And that sunset at the end... I just kept staring at it. So pretty!

Brilliant books
Never thought a kids' book could talk about sadness in such a gentle way. My son sometimes gets upset over little things but can’t really explain what’s wrong. This book helped him see that it’s okay to feel sad, and you don’t always have to ‘switch it off’ right away. Loved the cute character, and the illustrations are just magical!

Highly recommend
This book is a great way to introduce kids to the emotion of sadness. It’s written simple and clear, the text is big, and the illustrations are absolutely stunning. The format’s super convenient: picture on the left, text on the right—kid looks, parent reads. At the end, there’s a really interesting article and a fun game that helps kids experience the emotion in action. Highly recommend for family reading!
